Learn advanced principles and application of Reiki energy healing, including the four levels of healing with emphasis on healing at the spiritual level. Children and adults participate in preparing a simple snack recipe. Parents/guardians will also learn about child portion sizes, healthy snack ideas and recipes. Look Good...Feel Better is a free service which teaches cancer patients beauty techniques to help enhance appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The program is designed to help women recovering from cancer deal with the unpleasant side effects of cancer treatment, such as dry skin, hair loss, etc. By gaining control and even triumphing over these side effects, patients will discover that looking good really can make them feel so much better. Patients will receive free make-up kits worth $250. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, National Cosmetology Association and the Cosmetic, Toiletry Fragrance Association.
