Pediatric Nursing Care Conference

For nurses and staff interested in topics related to the clinical care of pediatric patients. Presented by Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Topics include tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy care; pediatric pain management; management of respiratory illnesses (asthma, bronchiolitis, croup); pediatric IV start class with skills stations.

Healing Touch Level 2

For students who have completed Level 1 and wish to increase breadth and depth in the study of healing touch. Includes an intake interview, back techniques and a one-hour healing sequence. Taught by certified healing touch instructor Barb Schommer, RN, MS, CHTP, CHTI.

Reiki Level 2

For students who have completed Level 1. Learn advanced principles and application of Reiki energy healing, including the four levels of healing with emphasis on healing at the spiritual level. Students will learn to use second level Reiki energy for both distance healing and the standard Reiki treatment. Participants must have completed the Reiki Healing Level 1 course. Healing Touch Level 3

For students who desire more in-depth skills in healing touch, and have successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2. Includes development of Higher Sense Perception (HSP), sequencing of healing techniques, working with guidance, self-healing and self-development.
