Over 220 people attended Lakeview Foundation’s second annual Bringing the Best to You breakfast and stewardship report to the community at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center on Nov. 19. The program highlighted Lakeview’s newly expanded oncology and infusion services. Guests were invited to contribute to the Foundation in support of Lakeview’s healthcare access programs (St. Croix Valley Parish Nurse Program, prescription assistance program, Lakeview Hospice and diabetes education) and the greatest needs fund. Over $46,000 was raised at the event; up from $10,000 at last year’s inaugural breakfast. Foundation board chair Jim Bradshaw emceed the event. Other speakers included Jeff Robertson, Lakeview Health CEO; Tracey Galowitz, Lakeview Health board chair; Dr. Candy Corey, Dr. Tom Stormont and two community members who shared their experiences with Lakeview Health.
